Why This Space Matters

Pregnancy Is Powerful.
You Should Not Have to Carry It Alone.

support group for Black mothers experiencing postpartum stress and emotional changes

Black women face unique realities during pregnancy. From navigating a medical system with a documented history of dismissing Black maternal pain, to managing cultural expectations of strength and silence, to doing all of this while growing a human being, the emotional weight is real and it is rarely acknowledged.

"This isn't therapy. It's not a class.
It's a community."

Not as a clinical program. Not as a class. As a community rooted in healing, honesty, and sisterhood, where you can show up exactly as you are and receive the support you actually deserve.

Real Talk About the Full Experience

This is not a highlight reel. Expecting Together creates room for the full range: the joy, the fear, the grief, the uncertainty, and everything in between.

Practical Tools for Stress and Self-Care

Every session ends with a tangible takeaway: a grounding technique, a communication strategy, or a self-care practice you can actually use this week.

Learn how to advocate for yourself in medical settings, recognize red flags, and ask the questions that protect your health and your baby.
