Becoming a parent changes everything—including your relationship.
At Black Girls Mental Health Collective, we know that building a strong, loving partnership is one of the best gifts you can give your baby.

Our Bringing Baby Home workshop helps expecting and new parents create a thriving emotional foundation—for yourselves, and for your child.

This isn’t another parenting class about swaddles and schedules.
It’s about protecting the emotional bond that makes parenting easier, calmer, and more joyful.

What You'll Learn

A family of three, a man, a woman, and a young girl, smiling and engaging in a playful arm wrestling pose indoors. The girl is being held by the man, and everyone is showing happy, cheerful expressions.

In this workshop, you and your partner will:

A happy couple holding their sleeping baby, all smiling and close together.
A family, including a woman, a man, and a young child, spending time together in a home environment.
A happy African American family, a mother and father, holding their sleeping baby, smiling and looking at the baby lovingly.
A family of four, including two children, sitting together on a bed and looking at a book or tablet.
A man and woman sitting on a couch, smiling, and looking at each other affectionately in a bright room with green plants in the background.

You’ll walk away feeling more connected, prepared, and ready to thrive together.

Gottman Institute research shows that 67% of couples experience a significant drop in relationship satisfaction during the first three years after having a baby.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.
When you invest in your partnership, you create a stable, nurturing home where your baby—and your relationship—can thrive.
